Program Description:

Gain international work experience from home!

Gain professional experience with a remote, virtual, international internship placement!  An Arcadia Abroad Virtual Global Internship provides you with international work experience and a four-credit internship course to add to your studies at your home school.

Students can choose from virtual placements in a number of cities:
  • Cape Town, South Africa
  • Dublin, Ireland
  • Edinburgh, Scotland
  • London, England
  • Rome, Italy
  • Sydney, Australia

Placements are available in a wide range of areas. You'll work with a placement coordinator to find a match that's right for you. 

During the program, you'll enjoy mentoring, networking, and reflection time with Arcadia staff and faculty in the country where you are pursuing your internship. A digital resume workshop is included to help you articulate your experience to future employers and graduate admissions officers.
 
  • A full semester placement takes place over 12 weeks, with work hours on 3 days per week (about 20 hours per week).
  • Single block placements during the semester are also available for approximately 7 weeks, 3 days per week.
  • Summer placements are 6 weeks, 3 days per week. 

Through this program, you will grow your global network; meet other virtual interns from schools around the U.S.; and draw from a library of free, online excursions to help you learn more about your host community. 

This program is rigorous, flexible, and fun. Placements are offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so submit your application and confirm your participation early.
