University College London Summer STEM
Program Overview
Looking for a way to study STEM this summer? Look no further than University College London (UCL), located in the central London area of Bloomsbury.
It’s one of the UK’s most prestigious universities, and one of the top universities in the world, with particular strengths in STEM subjects and an institutional commitment to world-class research. The Summer School features small class sizes for maximum academic focus, and offers study at several academic levels.
You’ll choose one STEM course from an array of subject areas and course offerings, and earn four credits for three weeks’ study. (You can also enroll in up to two sessions, for a total of two courses, six weeks, and eight credits.)
Subject areas include Brain Sciences, Computer Science, Crime and Security, Economics, Geography, Health, Medical Sciences, Sciences and Mathematics. Your coursework will consist of a combination of readings, written assignments, and oral presentations.
Summer is a great time to be in London, with so much on offer, and you’ll never run out of things to do. You’re in close proximity to many cultural attractions at UCL, including the British Museum and Regents’ Park.
The Arcadia London Center, which will support your studies while in London, is just a short distance away. In addition, events from UCL's Summer Social Program are scheduled for you to enjoy during your program.
