Program Description:

Ramapo College Student Leadership Program to Ghana


Program Overview

The Ramapo College Student Leadership Program to Ghana will provide students with unique opportunities to explore the vibrant and diverse country of Ghana, often recognized as the most stable democracy in Africa. Participants will witness some of the primary sites of the country, with particular focus on the Ashanti Kingdom. In partnership with Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), student leaderships will participate in a variety of university activities, leadership meetings and attend classes with their peers. Participants will work to achieve the following goals:
  • Meet with your counterparts from KNUST student leadership groups – both 1-1 and in groups
  • Attend related meetings, and other appropriate meetings
  • Present on Ramapo/US student leadership roles to KNUST students
  • Learn about the cultures of Ghana
  • Present about your experiences upon your return to Ramapo


$TBD per student

Cost includes: round-trip international airfare, all meals, accommodations, entrance fees for program activities, entry visa to Ghana and comprehensive international health & security insurance.
Not included: vaccinations and personal expenses.
